"Al Wasl expect to complete the signing of Helder Barbosa in the next few days after the club agreed a transfer fee with AEK Athens. The Portuguese winger, 29, should arrive in Dubai this weekend to finalise a $500,000 (Dh1.84 million) move from the Greek side, completing Wasl’s foreign contingent for the 2016/17 Arabian Gulf League season."

In der Quelle heißt es zudem, ein vorheriger Versuch Al Wasls, Hélder Barbosa auszuleihen, sei an AEK Athens Wunsch gescheitert, den Spieler lediglich gegen eine Ablöse verkaufen zu wollen. Für AEK Athen komme eine Leihe nicht in Frage.
Das ist in meinen Augen insofern logisch, als dass der Vertrag von Hélder Barbosa am Ende der aktuellen Saison auslaufen werden wird.
