Real Madrid have made a move to sign Ashley Cole.
The Chelsea veteran is a free agent at the end of the season and the Spanish club are ready to give him a one-year deal worth £3.5million.
He is aware of the interest, and his representatives are free to discuss terms and sign pre-contracts with foreign clubs.
The 33-year-old is sweating on his World Cup place after no longer being first-choice left-back at the Blues, although he started Tuesday night’s Champions League tie at Atletico Madrid because Branislav Ivanovic's suspension forced Cesar Azpilicueta to switch to right-back.

Vielleicht will man Coentrao abgeben, und mit Cole die nächste Saison überbrücken, um dann danach Moreno zu holen? Wobei sie Moreno dann eigentlich auch gleich holen könnten...
