Piero Hincapié draws interest from Bayern, Celtic & Milan - Fee above market value?
Piero Hincapié has been a revelation both in Argentina, where he plays for Atlético Talleres but also at the current Copa América in Brazil. The 19-year-old Ecuadorian national team player has played the full 270 minutes at the tournament enough to draw the interests from several European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Celtic, and Milan.
On Thursday, both the Scottish Daily Record and Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reported that Celtic were keeping a close eye on the player. But the Scottish side are not the only club interested. The same report also mentioned the likes of Real Betis, Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Newcastle United as possible destinations.
It is understood that Talleres, who do not own the full economic rights of the player will ask for around €10 million for Hincapié. That is significantly above the 19-year-old's current market value of €5 million. The 19-year-old recently made a significant jump from €700,000 to €5 million in the recent Argentina market value update.
