American center-back Erik Palmer-Brown will stay one more year at Austria Vienna. The Veilchen announced on Friday that they had renewed the loan deal with Manchester City until the summer of 2021. Palmer-Brown played 26 games for the Vienna-based club last season.
"In what has been difficult times, we are happy that we can continue our exciting cooperation with Manchester City and Erik," Austria head coach Peter Stöger said in a club statement. "It was important to us to keep a player in that position, who already knows the club and the league. After Alexandar Borkovic joined Hoffenheim, we tried and did find a solution that is acceptable for all sides."
