Most valuable Premier League XI worth over €1 billion - Five Man City and four Arsenal stars
The total market value of all English Premier League players rose by €240 million to an eye-watering €11.09 billion in the latest Transfermarkt update. It’s comfortably the biggest league in the world and six of the top ten most valuable squads are from England - including the top two, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka were rewarded for their excellent recent form with significant upgrades to €130m. Man City star Foden earned a €15m increase, while Saka was upgraded by €10m and both players are now the joint-fifth most valuable players in the world. 128 Premier League players received new valuations and we’ve compiled the most valuable combined XI from top-flight players.
Most valuable combined English Premier League eleven
André Onana endured a calamitous start to his Manchester United career but the Cameroon international has improved considerably in recent months. Onana and Ederson are the joint-most valuable goalkeepers in the Premier League but the Man United stopper makes the eleven as he’s younger than the Man City number one. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s market value remained the same during this update but the Liverpool star is still comfortably the most valuable right-back at €70m. While Josko Gvardiol is often viewed as a centre-back, he's predominantly been deployed at left-back by Pep Guardiola. The Croatian has failed to impress since joining City but he still makes the combined eleven at €75m, despite receiving a €5m downgrade. William Saliba and Rúben Dias are now the joint-most valuable centre-backs after the Arsenal enforcer earned a €5m upgrade with Mikel Arteta’s men boasting the best defensive record in the league.
Rodri and Declan Rice form the double-pivot in midfield with the duo excelling this season. The Arsenal and Man City stars valuations were both upgraded to €110m in the summer update but they remained the same this month. Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard has led the North London side to the league summit and the Norwegian has been upgraded by €5m. Saka and Foden take up the wing positions after their upgrades to €130m, while Erling Haaland leads the line. The Man City superstar’s market valuation remained at €180m after the update but he’s still the joint most-valuable player in the world, alongside Jude Bellingham. The total market value of this Premier League eleven is an incredible €1.09bn.
