Market values Peru: Sporting Cristal's Gonzales 1st – Farfán drops

The Liga 1 Clausura is in the final stage and with that in mind Transfermarkt has updated the market values in Peru. Christofer Gonzales from finalists Sporting Cristal is now first in the ranking. The 29-year-old has scored five goals and seven assists in 12 games and is now a regular starter for Peru's national team. The attacking midfielder is up by €250,000 to now €800,000. 

Gonzales benefits from a slight minus by the previous number one Peru: Alexis Rodríguez saw his market value decrease by €50,000 to €750,000. The Argentine winger has been sold but could not confirm his high market value that he carried over from his time in Argentina. Plus, his team Deportivo Municipal missed out on the final. 

Other players saw their market value improve significantly. Forward Raziel García (+€375,000 to €700,000) from Club Cienciano, Sporting Cristal's new national team player Jhilmar Lora (+€350,000 to €700,000) and his teammate Percy Liza (+€375,000 to €500,000) are among the big winners. 

Jefferson Farfán remains the most prominent player. But because of his age, the 37-year-old, who plays for finalist Alianza Lima saw his market value drop by €50,000 to €250,000. The former Schalke star is now the captain at Alianza but because injuries mostly featured from the bench.
