Kuching City FC is a professional football club based in Kuching, Sarawak. Kuching City was known as Kuching FA was established in 2015 to compete in the first edition of Liga Bolasepak Rakyat 2015/16. Kuching FA became the first champion of Liga Bolasepak Rakyat 2015/16. In 2017 Kuching FA was promoted to third tier of Malaysia League, FAM Cup 2017-2018. Next, Kuching became runner up in M3 League 2019 and promoted to Malaysia Premier League (MPL) 2020. In the middle of 2020, Kuching FA was rebranded to Kuching City FC and managed by Kuching City FC Sdn. Bhd. After 3 years competing in Malaysia Premier League (MPL), Kuching City FC was promoted to the first tier league by merit and currently competing in Malaysia Super League.
