New TM tool: Liverpool better than Man City in 2nd half - Everton 19th before the break
Liverpool are ahead of Manchester City in early January...? That is possible, even if only in a new Transfermarkt statistic: table by minutes. Here, an individual table is generated with a slider, where only the goals in the selected period count. If only the 2nd halves of the matchdays played so far are counted, the team around top scorer Mohamed Salah are ahead of Man City in this gimmick.
The biggest difference between performances can be found at Southampton, who sit fifth in the table before the break and only 19th in the 2nd half – a position that Everton occupy in the first 45 minutes. While Arsenal would qualify for the Champions League before halftime, they are only 14th afterwards.
The table by minutes can be divided into 15-minute intervals – the injury time of the 1st and 2nd halves can also be analysed. Chelsea are the team with the most goals after the end of the regular 90 minutes: The Blues won five matches in injury time – and once suffered a last-minute defeat.
